How do I choose the right size?
Measure your space (width, depth, height) and allow at least 50cm in front for drawer clearance. Our range spans compact 3 drawer chests (around 80-90cm wide) to expansive 6 drawer options (150cm wide). Check individual product dimensions on each page.
Will it fit through my door and up the stairs?
Most of our chest of drawers arrive flat packed, making delivery straightforward. Check the box dimensions listed on product pages if you have particularly narrow doorways or tight turns.
How difficult is assembly?
Most require standard self assembly with clear instructions. Some ranges like Thalia need only legs attaching. Budget 1-2 hours, or local furniture assembly services typically charge £26-50 per hour.
What's the difference between metal runners and soft-close?
Metal runners, like our Agnes range, provide smooth drawer operation. Soft close, like Maru, prevents slamming and is gentler on both furniture and fingers. Both work well, soft close is a premium feature.
How much storage do I actually need?
Wide chests offer more practical storage than tall, narrow ones. A 6 drawer chest comfortably holds folded clothes for one person; pair with bedsides or consider a double chest for couples sharing.
Do you include anti tip fixings?
Yes, anti tip fixings are included with our chest of drawers. Please ensure they're properly installed, particularly in homes with young children.
