How to choose your dining table
● Start with your space - Measure your room and leave clear walkways, you want to make sure you have enough space without the table taking over the entire room.
● Plan seating arrangements - It goes without saying that you need enough seats for everyone in the family who will eat at the table everyday, but would you like to leave room for when you’re hosting too?
● Shapes - Rectangular and oval shapes are best for long rooms, while round tables are great for when you’re short on space.

How high are dining tables?
A standard dining table height is around 29-30 inches, and chairs are typically 17-19 inches. That means for legroom you should aim to have about 10-12 inches between the top of the seat and underside of the table.
