My chairs wobble slightly when empty. Is that normal?
Honest answer? A tiny wobble on a hard floor before you sit down is normal. Wood moves, floors aren't perfectly flat, and even expensive chairs do this. If the wobble vanishes when you sit down, you're fine.
If it wobbles while you're sitting in it, that's different. Try felt pads under the legs first, or if you've just assembled them, check that all screws are tightened evenly.
Tighten them gradually in rotation rather than finishing one bolt completely before moving to the next.

How do I know if chairs will fit my table?
Measure your table's underside, not the top. Most dining tables sit at 75-76cm high, which means you need chairs with a seat height of around 45-50cm. The gap between seat and table underside should be about 25-30cm for comfortable leg room.
If you've got a chunky table apron or decorative moulding underneath, you might need slightly lower chairs. And if you're adding thick cushions to the seats, factor that height in too.
Your feet should rest flat on the floor with knees at roughly a 90-degree angle when seated.
What's the best material for families with kids?
Faux leather wipes clean easily and handles spills well, probably your safest bet with young kids.
Velvet and bouclé look lovely but need more care. Performance velvet (the tightly woven kind) copes better with daily use. Loose-weave fabrics can snag on pet claws and collect crumbs, so if you've got a Labrador or a toddler who treats the floor as a plate, think twice.
Wood or rattan frames are easier to keep clean than fully upholstered chairs. And darker colours hide marks better than cream or white.
Can I use dining chairs for working from home?
Short answer: not ideal for full-time desk work. Dining chairs aren't designed for 8-hour stretches at a laptop.
They'll do in a pinch, add a lumbar cushion, make sure the height works with your desk, and remember to stand up regularly. But if you're working from home most days, get a proper office chair. Your back will thank you.
Can I mix different chair styles around my table?

Intentionally mismatched looks deliberate. Accidentally mismatched looks like you gave up halfway through furnishing. The difference is having a common thread.
Do the chairs arrive assembled?
Most arrive flat-packed to some extent and need legs attaching. It takes about 10 minutes per chair with just a screwdriver. Instructions and fixings are in the box. Some fully upholstered chairs arrive ready to use. Check the product description for specifics.
When you're putting them together, don't overtighten the screws in one go. Hand-tight is fine for the first round, then give them all a final snug once you've checked the chair sits level. This prevents stripped threads and keeps everything square.
Can I get extra chairs later to match the ones I bought?
Usually, yes. But furniture ranges can change over time, and occasionally colours are discontinued. If you think you might want to expand your set in a year or two, consider ordering extras now.
Or don't. Mismatched dining chairs look better anyway. Two different styles alternating around the table, or all different but in the same colour family, it's more interesting than identical.
Will the colour match what I see online?
Screens vary, lighting affects colour perception, and natural materials have inherent variations. That sage green might look warmer or cooler depending on your room's light.
Remember that oak from one batch to another might have slight differences in grain and tone. That's wood being wood, not a defect.
